No marathon for me in May. Still trying to figure out what's wrong with my left leg. More to come, I'm sure.
But right now, I have something less important to talk about. North Korea.
Yes, 400 miles is a significant increase in range for their missiles because their maximum range tops out at 4000 miles! A 10% increase in range because you moved a missile the equivalent of a drive to D.C. from Boston?
That's like asking a high school quarterback to throw a pinpoint pass end zone to end zone, then moving him up to his own ten yard line and telling him to try again. Or lowering the basketball hoop a foot and telling a ten year old to windmill dunk. Or sticking a tee ball player on Wrigley Field and telling him to hit the Green Monster, but giving him the advantage of setting the tee just in front of the pitcher's mound.
They even painted it camouflage...to, you know, hide it when it's flying through the jungle spewing a trail of smoke and fire visible for hundreds of miles...

North Korea has moved missiles to its east coast in a threatening posture. I mean, just look at the graphics!

Am I the only person on the planet to realize that if their ability to hit a target with a ballistic missile is dependent on moving it from the west coast to the east coast of their tiny peninsula we have nothing to worry about?

North Korea is a child playing in the major leagues. We should be worried that they're developing better missiles and more fissile material, but reacting to moving their missiles? North Korea put their finger up to the mid line of the backseat. It's laughable.
